Refined summer by Gertrud
Gertrud, a well-established Tel Avivian brand, was founded at 1991, and it’s getting better with age. The refined label was one of the first to turn the slip into an outdoor clothing item, and a pioneer in promoting diversity as the new beauty ideal. When Gertrud was born almost 30 years ago, slips were the flagship product, and over the years, the poetic beauty of lingerie became delicate romantic clothes.
This season the label put an extra effort on sustainability and slow fashion. As the boundaries between seasons in the fashion world are becoming much less defined, Spring-Summer 2020 collection presents patterns that can be worn throughout the year, reflecting the idea of long lasting items.
Among all, you can find a lot of natural fabrics such as linen, cotton and silk, in earthy colours and relaxed figures, that call out for serenity now.
